DRUG TASK FORCE SEIZES CRACK COCAINE
Fayetteville Police Chief and Chairman of the Fourth Judicial Drug Task Force Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of a Marianna man for possession and delivery of crack cocaine.
Within the past thirty days, detectives of the Fourth Judicial Drug Task Force made two controlled purchases of crack cocaine from Frankie T. Martin, black male, age 30, of Marianna. On Wednesday, January 21, 2009, detectives of the Drug Task Force and members of the Fayetteville and Washington County Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at 1864 East Parkshore Drive, apartment four, where Martin was known to associate.
During a search of Martin’s vehicle in the parking lot, approximately thirty grams of crack cocaine were recovered.
Martin was arrested for two counts of Illegal Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Crack Cocaine, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Crack Cocaine.
This investigation is continuing.
