Fayetteville Police Seek Robbery Suspect

Fayetteville Police Interim Chief Greg Tabor announced today that the Fayetteville Police Department is seeking a suspect in connection with an armed robbery at the Highway Inn at 1140 N. College Avenue.
On January 1, 2009 at approximately 9:50 P.M., the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the Highway Inn at 1140 N. College Avenue for a report that a Hispanic or Marshallese male had robbed the manager at gunpoint. The manager stated that the suspect entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect is described as being Hispanic or Marshallese, approximately 5’10 tall, 170 pounds, with black hair and a teardrop tattoo on his right eye. The subject was last seen fleeing on foot northbound wearing a charcoal gray jacket, zipped up, with black jeans with an undisclosed amount of money.
