FAYETTEVILLE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN AGGRAVATED ROBBERY

             Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of two suspects in an Aggravated Residential Burglary at 985 N. Lewis.   

            On Saturday, January 5, 2013, at approximately 12:07 A.M., Fayetteville police officers responded to 985 N. Lewis for a report of a burglary.   Two black males armed with handguns broke into the house and robbed the residents at gun point.

            On Monday, January 7, 2013, investigators arrested Julius WATSON, black-male age 42 of Fayetteville and Eugene WIMBERLY, black-male, age 27 of Fayetteville in connection with the robbery.     WATSON and WIMBERLY were both arrested for Aggravated Residential Burglary, Aggravated Robbery, Engaging in Violent Group Activity, Theft of Property and Terroristic Threatening.
