FAYETTEVILLE POLICE ARREST FIVE TEENS FOR VANDALISM
Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of five juveniles in connection with vandalizing mailboxes with homemade explosives.
On Monday February 18, 2013, Fayetteville Police investigated four separate incidents in which mailboxes were destroying using a homemade explosive device. Two of the incidents occurred on North Hartford Drive and two incidents occurred on North Eastwood Drive.
On Tuesday February 20, 2013, Fayetteville Police arrested five juvenile males in connection with the incident. Two white-males age 15, and three white-males, age 16, were arrested in connection with the incidents. All five were arrested one count each of Criminal Act Involving Explosives (felony). Four were also arrested for one count each Criminal Mischief 1st Degree (felony) and one was also arrested for one count Criminal Mischief 1st Degree (misdemeanor).
