FAYETTEVILLE POLICE ANNOUNCE THE ARREST OF A FAYETTEVILLE MAN FOR POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WITH INTENT TO DELIVER.

Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of a Fayetteville man for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
A Fayetteville Police officer stopped the suspect for a traffic violation near Crossover Road and Joyce Boulevard. A police canine was then used to perform a sniff of the vehicle. The canine alerted, indicating the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and, during the search, officers located two bags containing marijuana.
Arrested was Hosea Knowlton, black male, age 38 of Fayetteville. Knowlton was arrested for Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The total amount of marijuana located is 925.5 grams.
