Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the Fayetteville Police Department’s arrest of a Rogers’ man in connection to local burglaries.

            On June 26th, 2013, at approximately 4:54 P.M., officers of the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a report of a reckless driver in the area of 578 E. Joyce Blvd.  When officers arrived in the area, they located a suspicious vehicle parked behind the McDonalds Restaurant at 578 E. Joyce Blvd. The officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle, who was acting erratic and excited.  During the course of their investigation, officers discovered several items of stolen property in the vehicle. Some of these items were reported stolen earlier in the day by a local car dealership.  Later, the officers learned the suspect had also burglarized a residence in Fayetteville on June 5th and had broken into a motel in the Rogers area.        

            Trevor Daniel LAROCHELLE, white-male, age 25, of Rogers was arrested for Commercial Burglary, Theft of Property, Auto Theft, Residential Burglary, Possession of Firearm by Certain Persons, and Theft by receiving.

            The investigation is continuing.
