March 2009 Drug Enforcement Activity

Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor, as a participant and in cooperation with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force, announced the March results on continued drug enforcement efforts.  During March, there were 60 arrests for drug related charges. Listed below is a breakdown in the charges for the 60 drug arrests. 

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Misdemeanor)                                    27     

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor & Felony)                              10

Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver (Felony)           3

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony)                                             13

Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Felony)                                                   6

Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (Felony)                                            1

Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms (Felony)                                 0
