Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today that the Fayetteville Police Department has arrested an adult male in connection with an armed robbery at the Medicap Pharmacy.

On January 6, 2009 at approximately 9:42 A.M., the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the Medicap Pharmacy at 2818 W. Sixth Street for a report that a white male had robbed the business at gunpoint.  The pharmacist stated that the suspect entered the business armed with a handgun and demanded narcotics.  Based on information developed during the investigation an arrest warrant was issued and the suspect was arrested on January 22, 2009. 

Thomas Gene JOHNSON, white male, age 25 of Fayetteville was arrested for Aggravated Robbery, Theft of Property and Possession with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana).
