FAYETTEVILLE POLICE INVESTIGATE DEATH
Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the Fayetteville Police Department is conducting an investigation related to the death of a Springdale man.
On Saturday, May 11, 2013, at approximately 11:53 P.M, Fayetteville police officers responded to the Electric Cowboy at 2127 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard for a disturbance call. When officers arrived on scene they found that a disturbance had occurred outside of the business. Steven HALL, white-male, age 33 of Springdale and Robert Clark, white-male, age 41 of Springdale had been arguing and HALL punched Clark in the face causing him to fall and strike his head on the concrete. Clark was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center where it was determined that he had suffered a severe brain injury. Clark was transported by helicopter to Mercy Medical Center in Springfield Missouri where he later died.
On 05-13-2013, Fayetteville Police arrested HALL on charges of Manslaughter. He is being held at the Washington County Detention Center at this time.
