Chief of Police and Chairman of the Fourth Judicial Drug Task Force Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of one individual for drug charges.          

On Wednesday, August 17, 2011, detectives from the Drug Task Force and the Fayetteville Police Department executed search warrants at the Electric Moo at 2110 N. College Avenue, and Spectrum at 2330 N. College Avenue, in Fayetteville, Arkansas in response to an ongoing investigation into these businesses selling synthetic marijuana.  

  Officers arrested Patrick BUTLER, white male, age 57, of Prairie Grove, for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (synthetic marijuana).

A viewing of the items seized from the search warrants will be today at 3:00 P.M. at the Fayetteville Police Department.   All members of the media are invited to attend.

 The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of Fayetteville, Springdale, Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, Greenland, Johnson, Elm Springs, Elkins Police Departments, the City of Goshen, and the Washington and Madison County Sheriff’s Offices.

            The investigation is ongoing.
