two fayetteville residents arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver


Today, Fayetteville Police Chief and Chairman of the Fourth

Judicial District Drug Task Force Greg Tabor announced the arrest

of a local man and woman for marijuana possession and delivery.

      During the last week, members of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force made two purchases of marijuana from 1322 Fairlane.       On Friday,

May 07, 2010, a search warrant was served at that location. During the search, approximately 72.6 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $2080 in

US Currency were seized.  Children were in the home where the marijuana transactions took place.  Arrested were Earl Lee Stephens, B/M 40 and Bobbie Shantelle Walker, B/F 29 for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.   

     The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of

Fayetteville, Springdale, University of Arkansas, Prairie Grove,

Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, Greenland, Johnson, Elm Springs,

Elkins Police Departments as well as the Madison County and Washington County Sheriff’s Office. 

     This investigation is continuing.
