Drug Task Force Arrests Man For Marijuana Growing Operation


Fayetteville Police Chief and Chairman of the Fourth Judicial Drug Task Force Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of a local man for possessing and manufacturing marijuana.

On March 4th, 2009, detectives of the Fourth Judicial Drug Task Force received information from the Arkansas State Police about a marijuana growing operation located at 3041 North Old Missouri road in Fayetteville.

Detectives worked with the Arkansas State Police and executed a search of the residence on Wednesday, March 4th, 2009.  During the search, detectives located three ounces of marijuana and 34 marijuana plants varying in size.

Ted Wilcox, white male, age 24, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana), and Manufacturing Marijuana.

This was a joint investigation between the Fourth Judicial Drug Task Force and the Arkansas State Police.  The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of Fayetteville, Springdale, Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, Greenland, Johnson, Elm Springs, Elkins Police Departments, the City of Goshen, and the Washington and Madison County Sheriff’s Offices.
