FAYETTEVILLE POLICE INVESTIGATE FATAL ACCIDENT
Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the Fayetteville Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred on W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
On Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at approximately 4:30 PM., Fayetteville Police responded to a report of an accident near the intersection of W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Hanshew Road. A black 2010 Ford F-150 pickup driven by Paul Mosley, age 22 of Fayetteville, was traveling east bound in the inside lane of Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard. Mosely made a quick lane change into the outside lane and attempted to make a right turn into the parking lot of 3615 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. A black 2007 Honda 13S motorcycle driven by Ricky Langham, age 60 of Elkins, was travelling east bound in the outside lane when Mosey changed lanes and attempted to turn. Langham attempted to stop but collided with the rear of Mosley’s vehicle. Fault in the accident has yet to be determined and the investigation is continuing.
Mosley was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (drugs) and Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License.
