Fayetteville Police Chief and Chairman of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of three subjects for drug charges.

      On June 4th, 2010, members of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force were attempting to locate a subject wanted on a federal arrest warrant, at 556 Country Farm Road in Fayetteville. The resident confirmed that the subject had been there the previous night. Officers were allowed inside by the resident in order to search for the wanted subject.  While inside the residence, officers noted a strong odor of marijuana. While checking the house for the wanted subject, officers located an indoor marijuana growing operation.  The residence was secured and a search warrant obtained.  Officers seized 47 mature marijuana plants ranging from three to six feet in height, and extensive amounts of indoor grow equipment.

Arrested were Jason Leron Butler, black male, age 25, Jonathan Donaldson, black male, age 23 and Jason Allen Donaldson, black male, age 25.  The arrested subjects were charged with manufacturing of a controlled substance (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.  

      The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of Fayetteville, Springdale, Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, Greenland, Johnson, Elm Springs, Elkins Police Departments and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation is ongoing.
