Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today that Rob Turberville has been promoted to the rank of Captain. On Thursday, October 13, 2011, Chief Greg Tabor promoted Lieutenant Rob Turberville to the rank of Captain   Turberville will fill the vacancy created with the promotion of Deputy Chief Mike Reynolds.  Turberville started his career with the Fayetteville Police Department on February 6, 1984 as a patrolman.  During his career he has worked as a detective, patrol supervisor, criminal investigations supervisor, and most recently served as the Administrative Lieutenant.   Turberville is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command.  

            The Fayetteville Police Department wants to congratulate Captain Turberville on his promotion and to wish him luck in his new position.
