FAYETTEVILLE POLICE INVESTIGATE SEXUAL ASSAULT CASES
Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today a continuing investigation of a man accused of sexually assaulting children.
Gregory McWhorter was recently arrested by the Fayetteville Police Department for rape and sexual assault of a child and was later charged for sexually assaulting four other children. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered McWhorter would wear a disguise, and would refer to himself as the boogie man to his potential victims. Currently, five victims have been identified but investigators believe that other children may have been victimized by McWhorter.
