FAYETTEVILLE POLICE SEEKING ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING ATTEMPTED ROBERY SUSPECT
Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today that the Fayetteville Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying an attempted robbery suspect.
On August 24, 2011, the Fayetteville Police responded to the Medicap Pharmacy at 2818 W. Martin Luther King Boulevard, in reference to an attempted robbery. Security camera footage showed the suspect had approached the business from the west side of the building wearing a mask. The suspect crouched by the building and removed the mask when he saw a delivery driver entering the business. The suspect entered the business and walked around the front of the store but never made any demands or spoke to the pharmacist and left a short time later. As the suspect was leaving the store, a witness noticed that the suspect had a mask in his hand.
Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 479-587-3555.
