Fayetteville police remind citizens about driving impaired
Fayetteville Police Greg Tabor wants to remind citizens not to drink and drive on Super Bowl Sunday.
This Sunday, football fans will travel to Super Bowl parties to watch the game and cheer on their favorite team. When the game is over, fans that have been drinking need to make sure they don’t get behind the wheel. The Fayetteville Police Department will be on the lookout for impaired drivers this Super Bowl Sunday. The Fayetteville Police Department wants to offer these tips before you head out to watch the game:
 Plan ahead: When you plan on consuming alcohol, designate a sober driver before going out, and give that person your keys;
 If you’re impaired, call a taxi, or call a sober friend or family member to get you home safely;
 Promptly report drunk drivers you see on the roadways to law enforcement;
 If you know someone who is about to drive while impaired, take their keys and help them make other arrangements to get to where they are going safely.
