RAZORBACK FOOTBALL TRAFFIC
With the first Razorback Football game this weekend, Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor wants to remind Fayetteville residents and visitors about game day traffic and parking issues.
- Most major intersections will have officers working traffic control before and after the game. We ask that motorists be patient as officers are doing their best to make sure that everyone gets to and from the game as quickly as possible.
- Most street parking in the University Heights neighborhood, West of Razorback Road, is prohibited.
- After the game, be extra cautious and watch for pedestrians and officer’s working in the intersections.
- There is currently road construction at the intersection of Martin Luther King and Interstate 540 which may impact the traffic flow. If you have to travel through this intersection, make sure you allow for extra time into your schedule in case of traffic congestion.
