City Compost Facility Closed to the Public

 Compost Facility at 1708 S. Armstrong closed for unknown amount of time.

The City’s Compost Facility located at 1708 S. Armstrong will be closed to the public for an unknown amount of time.  All storm debris needs to be processed at the three sites found in the ice storm update on the home page.  These sites are the designated FEMA sites. 

For curbside removal of storm debris please place in manageable piles at your curb for removal.  This brush and tree removal process will take months; we request your patience as we all work together to recover.

Brush removal from private property will be completed by City Personnel. So, help us keep the roadways clear by placing all brush behind the curb, not in the street. Please do not pile your brush around shrubbery, underneath trees that would restrict equipment operation, near mail boxes, or over gas and water meters.
