City of Fayetteville Transfer Station to close for repairs.

 Transfer Station to close on the afternoon of June 5th to replace floor.

The Solid Waste and Recycling Division is announcing that the Transfer Station located at 1560 S. Happy Hollow Road in southeast Fayetteville for disposal of class 1 municipal solid waste will be closed beginning at 12 pm on Friday, June 5th and will reopen approximately on Monday, June 15th at 6 am if reconstruction is complete.  The Transfer Station floor will be replaced due to extensive wear.  All City loads will be direct hauling to the Waste Management Tontitown Landfill during this period.  All private haulers and general public will need to use other transfer stations or the landfill for disposal of class 1 municipal solid waste during this time.
