Johnson Controls Performance Contract

In 2008, Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI) was selected to provide energy performance contract services on seven City-owned facilities, City Hall, Parks & Recreation, Fire Stations 1 & 7, Building Services, Fleet & Transportation, and the Airport. This work included energy audits of each facility and over $300,000 in energy retrofits primarily made up of lighting, heating & air conditioning, and weatherization improvements. The contract included a guaranteed annual savings of close to $40,000 annually resulting in a simple payback of less than eight years.
