Asphalt Crews to Begin Milling and Overlays

Watch out for Flaggers and Equipment!

The City Transportation Department will begin Milling and Overlays starting Friday, May 15th and continuing into the week of May 18, 2009.  On Friday the Milling machines and crews will begin work in the area of Seminole, Choctaw, Whippoorwill, Creek, Cherokee and Sioux.

The milling will take approximately 3 days and by Wednesday crews will be starting the overlay of the streets. 

Please use caution driving in these areas.  Drive slowly as oil will be placed on the roads.  If you should get oil on your vehicle it can be removed with WD-40.
