When does the City offer the hay for sale?
Hay will be offered for sale each calendar year on the first workday of April; starting at 7:30 a.m. Commitments will not be accepted before this time.
What type of forage is produced on the land application site?
Midland Bermuda grass is the primary variety of forage grown on the SMS.
What is the method of pricing the hay from the land application site?
Hay prices start at $ 90.00 per ton but may increase or decrease depending on several factors.
